Paul Davids

I have lived in Harwich since I was six years old. I attended the old Ramsey Primary School and still have shocking memories of the temperature of the outside swimming pool. I then attended what was then called The Harwich School.

I worked as a sports groundsman with TDC for a number of years before joining Essex Police. I spent the last six years of service as a school officer covering all of the Harwich school’s. In 2012 I was asked to join The Harwich and Dovercourt High School. I joined HDHS to run the exclusion unit and to try and help some of the more troubled youngsters.

Although relatively new to the role of school governor I am not new to working with or being around children (I have six of them).

I endeavour to make all my decisions, be that  in my personal life, professional life or now as a governor in the best interest of children and their futures at the forefront of my mind.
