I became a Governor when my eldest child joined the school in 2009 to understand the school better. 12 years later I am immensely proud to be The Chair of Governors at this community centered school.  All of my three children have now passed through Spring Meadow having had a great primary experience here before going on to HDHS.  

I have lived all my life in Harwich, attending the old Second Avenue Infants, Mayflower and on to The Harwich School for GCSE and A Levels.  I studied Transport at Aston University.  I am UK Operations Manager at P&O Ferrymasters.

I believe that high quality education and school experience should be available for all our children, regardless of where you live or what school you get your child into.  This has to give our children the tools they need to interact our diverse society.  As a Governor I can support our schools to make this happen.
