Hepburn Class - Reception - Miss Rozier

Audrey Hepburn

British actress and humanitarian

‘’ Nothing is impossible. The word itself says, 'I'm possible'! ‘’

Audrey Hepburn was born in Belgium in 1929 into an aristocratic family. As a child during the war, Audrey experienced hardship and poverty but through it all she was determined to become a dancer. Then, through a lucky chance she was spotted by a London musical producer, and her career began as a famous and successful Hollywood star in the 1950s and 60s. Hepburn devoted the final years of her life to humanitarian work. She became a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF in the late 1980s. Traveling the world, Hepburn tried to raise awareness about children in need.

She remains a different kind of superstar from many of her contemporaries. She will be remembered for her kindness and goodness, even angelic qualities, as well as for her unquestioned beauty and talents.

We want the children in Hepburn class this year to learn about the work of this inspirational woman.
