The Making of Harry Potter-Warner Bros Studio Tour

Our Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children visited the Making of Harry Potter-Warner Bros Studio Tour.

We visited the Studios where all eight films were produced, the Studio Tour showcases the British talent and artistry that went into the making of the Wizarding World, you can relive the magic through the eyes of the filmmakers who brought the films to life. During the tour we saw the authentic sets, discovered the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explored the behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter film series. We explored the iconic Hogwarts Great Hall and stepped into the Forbidden Forest, we even went aboard the original Hogwarts Express at Platform 9 ¾ and walked into Gringotts Wizarding Bank, this was all before taking a wander down the real set of Diagon Alley.

This was a very special visit for us, especially as it's been World Book Day this week-we have many Harry Potter books in our Library to enjoy. Back in school are using this experience to inspire our narrative quest writing and have been thinking about how the books we read are transformed into stage and film productions.
