Our class is named Tajiri Class after Satoshi Tajiri, the Japanese video game designer and creator of Pokémon. He is best known for creating the Pokémon franchise, which has become one of the most successful and influential entertainment brands in the world. Tajiri also founded Game Freak, which began as a self-made gaming magazine and evolved into the development studio behind Pokémon. Inspired by his childhood love of collecting insects, Tajiri transformed a simple hobby into a creative idea that revolutionised gaming. His innovative concept of trading Pokémon between devices changed how people interacted with video games and sparked a global phenomenon.

We chose Satoshi Tajiri as our class inspiration because he represents Boundless Creativity - turning imagination into reality and building something extraordinary that continues to inspire millions. Tajiri’s story encourages us to think differently, stay curious, and embrace our unique ideas with confidence and passion.
