SPaG
SPaG stands for Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar. In your daily lesson we will give you a focus for you to complete.
Our focus today is prefix - un.
We can use prefixes to change the meaning of a word. Prefixes are added to the beginning of the word e.g. un. When we add prefix un to the beginning of the word, it changes its meaning to the opposite.
E.g. if I was to add prefix un to the word pack it would be become unpack. You might have been asked to pack your bag for your holiday but unpack means to undo what you have done.
For example:
Zip unzip
happy unhappy
Watch the clip below to learn more about prefix - un.
