SPaG

SPaG

SPaG stands for Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar. In your daily lesson we will give you a focus for you to complete.

Our focus today is to use a question mark to ask a question.

Question marks end a sentence where a question is being asked. Questions often begin with the words why, when, which, how, who and where.

For example,

When will it be home time?

Who is your favourite character?

Watch the clip below to learn more about question marks.

Read the sentences below. Do they need a question mark or a full stop?

Where did you go on holiday in the summer_

What is your favourite food_

The monkey was eating a snack _

When is your birthday_

The sun was hiding behind the clouds_
