SPaG stands for Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar. In your daily lesson we will give you a focus for you to complete.

 

This week our focus is going to be on types of sentences.

 

We have looked at different types of sentences since the start of Year 2, but since we are almost back at school it’ll be good to refresh those memories.

 

There are four types of sentence in the English language:

 

 

Today we are going to focus on exclamations.

 

 

For your main task I would like you to look at these images below and write an exclamation about each image. Remember to start with the word ‘what’ or ‘how’, include a verb and a noun then finish it with an exclamation mark.
