This week our focus is going to be on types of sentences.
We have looked at different types of sentences since the start of Year 2, but since we are almost back at school it’ll be good to refresh those memories.
There are four types of sentence in the English language:
Today we are going to focus on statements.
For your main task I would like you to look at these images below and write a statement about each image. Remember to start with a capital letter, use correct spacing between words (not letters) and end with a full stop only.
