L.O. I can plan my own quest adventure.

 

W.up: Adjectives (Give your child 60 seconds to write as many adjectives as they can think of) 

 

Today I would like your child to plan their own quest adventure story. Please see attached journey map template and thinking back to last week, they will need to remember the key features of a quest adventure. Their journey can be their own ideas and completely different storyline that they can choose. They will need to include a beginning scene, build up, problem, resolution and ending. Children are draw pictures of each part of their story and note down the key things that happen so that they can use this as their plan for writing their story tomorrow. 

 

Success criteria: 

 

  • Features of a quest adventure (all five parts) 
  • Adjectives
  • Punctuation 
  • Check sense.
