Kris Wills - Parent Governor

I became a parent governor in March 2020, with my eldest child in Year 1 and have witnessed first hand the great work the school does. I have lived in Harwich pretty much all of my life and attended Harwich County Primary and then on to the Harwich School. I now work as a finance manager for a horticultural company in Colchester. I hope to bring a different perspective to the governing body entirely away from the education sector whilst also offering help within the finance functions if required. 

 

Since joining the governing body I have been highly impressed by the unseen work that goes on to ensure that all pupils receive the best possible education and experience in school, regardless of any factors outside of school. I will work to ensure that this continues to be the case for all pupils at Spring Meadow.
