Kelly Fensom - Co-0pted Governor and Vice Chair

I am a mother of 5 children, 2 of which are in higher education, 2 are in secondary school and I have a child here at Spring Meadows in year 2.

I have always taken an interest in my children's schooling which led me to volunteer at one of the other primary schools in Harwich as a Governor, a post which I held for 8 years.

I also have a keen interest in clubs and groups that my children attend and so volunteer as the Social Secretary for Minis and Youth Rugby at the Rugby Club in Harwich.

I also have involved myself helping with the Holiday Hunger Programme who provide support in school holidays alongside Active Essex. Before this I was a Beaver Scout Leader.

I am keen to train and specialise in SEND. When a position came up for a Governor at Spring Meadow, I thought it was time to put my name forward again and support the school.
