English

In English we are currently writing diary entries. We have linked these to our current topic on the Titanic, too.

Can you please write a diary entry from the perspective of a passenger on board the Titanic for your work this week.

Ensure you use:

- First person

- Expanded noun phrases

- Parenthesis

- Range of conjunctions

- Modal verbs

- Abstract nouns

- Cohesive devices

Here are some videos that you may like to watch, to support your diary entries.

Life of passengers onboard the Titanic

Filmed from the perspective of two different passengers - a first class and a third class passenger.
Produced by a 10 year old child.

You could always use these images taken from our class book, 'Survivors' to write a recount from the perspective of Ernest Shackleton.

Ernest Shackleton - Surviviors

This extract has been taken from our 'Survivors' book in class.

Read the extract and write a recount about Juliane's terrifying experience.
