We recognise that this period of social isolation can be a stressful and worrying time for everyone and we do not want the pressure of learning at home to add to that stress for children, parents or staff. Our priority is for you to enjoy your time at home together and therefore we are not expecting parents to become stand in teachers. Some children will love the opportunity to continue learning while at home, but others will not. We want this time to be positive and full of precious happy memories.
On this page you will find links to a wide range of resources and activities. These are organised by year group but you may also enjoy some of the resources from other years depending on your child's interests. If you have any pieces of work that you are particularly proud of, please do share them with your child's teacher, but please bear in mind that no child will be penalised or disadvantaged if they do not complete the work suggested.
Since the partial reopening of the school for Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 on the 8th June, we will now be sharing 'Weekly Planning' for each year group. This planning has been set by teachers and consists of daily structured tasks for English, Maths and Topic themed learning. The 'Weekly Projects' will also continue to be set as well as the 'Teacher's Challenges'. We welcome any completed work to be sent to your child's class email address.
We hope that this will continue to support your child's learning at home.
