Lewis Capaldi 

Singer/Songwriter 

Lewis Capaldi is one of the most beloved artists around right now. The Scottish singer is best known for hits 'Bruises', 'Someone You Loved', 'Hold Me While You Wait', and 'Before You Go'.

Lewis has been diagnosed recently with Tourette's syndrome which is a neurological disorder that can cause him to have tics (random muscle spasms). His condition gets worse when he is feeling anxious or tired and therefore he has been struggling a lot in more recent months with an increasing amount of shows as his popularity increases. He has admitted that this is causing him to have more anxiety and is affecting his mental health.

Lewis is an inspiration to all and has shown the World recently that it is okay to take a break for your own health. It has inspired young people, particularly men, to talk about their mental health issues which historically has been a difficult conversation to have. We hope Lewis will bring his light back to us when he is ready but we support him in his courageous choice to protect his own mental and physical health.
